Spirit of Organic Award Nominations Now Being Accepted and Registration is Open for Two Wednesday Tours

The Natural Foods Merchandiser Spirit of Organic Award
This award, presented by New Hope Natural Media since 2001, recognizes "heroes" of the organic community. Nominees for the award come from all segments of the organic marketplace. Winners demonstrate commitment, innovation, entrepreneurship, passion for organics, and a determination to change the way we farm, eat, and live. The Award will be presented on Wednesday, Oct. 15, as a part of the Organic Harvest Festival, an exhibitor tabletop event featuring live music, great conversation, and organic food and drink. Organic Farm Tour of Decas Botanical Synergies
Visit one conventional and one organic cranberry bog in the Boston area. Wet and dry harvesting techniques and cranberry processing will be demonstrated. Topics of discussion to include organic certification and merchandising. Box lunch is served, space is limited, and cost is $60.
